Primers and Resource Sheets

You'll find two sorts of resources here. The top table contains links to the Primers that introduce you to the basic music theory and fingerboard insights you'll need to do the exercises that accompany every Community Guitar arrangement. If you are either taking a Level 1 Community Guitar class for the first time or just getting started at Level 2, download the appropriate primer and focus on that before trying the theory exercises. Needless to say, Level 3 players should also be familiar with all this material.

The table below contains links to a growing collection of Community Guitar Resource Sheets. These provide a brief introduction to a variety of topics that occasionally come up but which are not covered in the Primers above. Whenever you encounter an unfamiliar term in the theory or creative musicianship exercises, check here to see if it has already been covered. If not, feel free to recommend a new topic.
